Over 1000 lots in this 2 – day auction featuring over 600 firearms from the Ruth Johnson Collection; A Texas native, born in Waxahachie, who now resides in southern California at the age of 93.

Large collection of spurs, many from the estate of the late Texas Spurmaker, Jerry Cates.

Over 600 Antique and Modern Firearms.  Over 100 Colt SA and Colt DA Revolvers, approximately 100 rifles and shotguns, including Winchesters, 1873-1886-1887-1890-1892, 94’s – 62 & 71, many new in box; Plus Browning, Marlins, Remingtons, Parker Bros., Ithacas, Savage, Mossberg, Rugers, many Colt and Remington Civil War Percussion arms; many military arms including Lugers, German Autos, Walther PPK’s, Walther PP’s, P-38, (some Nazi marked),  Colt 1902’s, 1903’s, 1911’s and 1927 contracts. Approximately 30 Ruger Revolvers, old model and new model.  New in box Smith and Wessons, Colt, High Standards, Iver Johnsons, plus many other manufacturers.  Large collection of new
unboxed  Commemoratives, including Colt single actions and automatics, Winchester and Marlin Rifles.

Vintage Winchester Advertising, including the finest known Winchester Oak framed advertisement by H.R. Poore, of the famous Oliver Winchester hunting dogs, circa 1920 – 1925, in the original oak advertising frame that measures 34”x 44”.  Original Winchester marked oak hanging Wall Clock, No. 24, circa 1910 – 1920, in excellent original finish,
manufactured by Sessions Clock Co., 27” long.  Rare, dated 1929, Winchester Calendar, with full calendar pad; plus other vintage Winchester advertisements.

Spur and Bit collection to include Jerry Cates, Adolph Bayers, G.A. Bischoff, J.O. Bass, C.P. Shipley, Billy Klapper, Frank Harvey, R.F.
