The Estate of the late Scott Poage (Nephew of W.R. Poage) Estate at Public Auction
Auction to be held on location at the Poage home located at
609 Edgewood Ave. Waco, Tx. (Cameron Park area)
Scott was a science professor at the University of Houston
Both estates contain a large amount of American, Victorian antique furniture, and Glassware, Historical Waco memorabilia and early documents, Land grants, Original bridge stock certificates from the Waco Suspension Bridge, Large Library of Texana books and classics, Period furniture, Civil War Memorabilia, (W.R. Poage’s Grandfather, George Poage served as a Capitan in Jeb Stewart’s Confederate Calvary). Auctions will also contain Lamps, Clocks, Art, Oil paintings, Large cane collection, Several oak stacking bookcase originally from the Alico building, Large collection of Texas made quilts, Oriental rugs, Massive amount of China, Sterling, Dressden, Meissen, and Wave crest. Both Estates will feature over 1500 lots of Quality, and Historical Estate items.
